  12. People seem to be polarized over where the Amiga should be sold.  
  13. Actually, IMO, there can be several types of dealers.
  14.  
  15. 1. Mail Order        Lowest prices, minimal services
  16.  
  17. 2. Electronics "Superstores" and major department stores (not rock-bottom 
  18. types)            low to moderate prices, moderate services
  19.  
  20. 3.Specialty Computer Dealers  Somewhat higher prices, extensive services 
  21.                 and advice
  22.  
  23. The other platforms seem to work with this arrangement, but then again, 
  24. their makers generally exert some efforts to build business.  Others 
  25. involved in this thread have also mentioned other interesting ideas.

  27. In the meantime, there still is no mention of the Amiga in mainstream 
  28. publications, general computer magazines, or even "Computer Shopper", 
  29. which used to carry Amiga columns.  Heaven forbid placing information 
  30. before the eyes of those planning to spend $$$.

  34. You have to invest in seeds, water, etc before you can harvest crops.

  37. It is time to inform the American public of your existence!
